Investing in Our Greatest Resource

The greatest investment we can make in Warren County isn't in buildings or budgets — it's in people.

What I've Heard

When I talk with parents, grandparents, educators, employers, and community members, one thing is clear — we all want our children to have opportunities to succeed. I've heard parents who want their children to receive an excellent education close to home. I've heard teachers who care deeply about their students and work tirelessly every day. I've spoken with employers who want a skilled workforce and young people who see a future for themselves right here in Warren County.

While we may approach education from different perspectives, we all want our children to be prepared for whatever path they choose. I believe that's something our community can unite around.

My Perspective

As someone who has raised a family in Warren County, education has never been just another issue to me. It's personal.

Every parent wants their child to have opportunities that help them grow, learn, and build a successful future. Over the years, I've also seen how education strengthens an entire community. Strong schools help attract families, support local businesses, prepare our workforce, and contribute to the quality of life that makes Warren County a wonderful place to call home.

I also recognize that education is a shared responsibility. Teachers, parents, students, community organizations, businesses, faith communities, and local government all have important roles to play.

Throughout my years as Fire Chief, I've watched young volunteers grow into confident leaders, skilled professionals, and dedicated public servants. One of the most rewarding parts of leadership is helping others discover what they're capable of.

County Commissioners don't operate our schools, but they do help create an environment where education can thrive through responsible budgeting, strong partnerships, and thoughtful planning.

What This Means for Warren County

The future of Warren County will be shaped by the young people growing up here today. Preparing them for success means supporting excellent educational opportunities, encouraging workforce development, and creating a community where graduates can choose to build their futures right here at home.

It also means recognizing that education extends beyond the classroom. Access to technology, safe communities, strong families, libraries, parks, career training, and partnerships with local businesses all contribute to lifelong learning and opportunity.

When we invest in education, we're investing in the future of Warren County.

Did You Know?

County Commissioners and the Board of Education have different responsibilities, but they share a common goal: serving the people of Warren County. Commissioners help fund many aspects of county government, including public education, while school leaders oversee the day-to-day operation of our schools.

Strong partnerships between these boards benefit students, families, and the entire community.

Looking Ahead

I believe every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. As your County Commissioner, I'll work to build strong partnerships, encourage thoughtful investment, and support the people who are preparing the next generation of Warren County leaders.

Because when our children succeed, our county succeeds.
